Catharine Dada, PhD - Producer
Catharine studied at Cambridge University & trained as a classical actress at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company as an actress working in both Stratford-on-Avon and London. She holds an MA(Hons) in The Study of Mysticism & Religious Experience and a PhD in Religious Studies both from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK.Â

Her academic research has been published by Routledge, Oxford and in several international peer-reviewed academic journals. Catharine was recently invited to speak at The Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University on some of her groundbreaking research regarding spiritual experiences and liminality.

As a producer her short films have won numerous international awards and accolades. As a professor, Catharine is proud to teach graduate students at Loyola Marymount University and to teach Film Production at the multi award winning Santa Monica College.

Catharine has been deeply involved in a number of social justice projects for the CSJ Center for Reconciliation and Justice spanning several years and has a particular interest in peace studies.Â
